On February 4th, the preparation meeting of promotional materials for the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, organized by the Center for Foreign Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, was held in Beijing both online and offline. The meeting was attended by more than 30 people from the Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Pesticide Testing Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Fire Product Qualification Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management, China Electricity Council, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, China Chlor Alkali Industry Association, China Plastic Processing Industry Association and China Crop Protection Industry Association. Among the list was Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary General of CCAIA, who attended online. While the meeting introduced the outline and requirements of promotional materials for the 20th anniversary of the Convention's compliance, the attending representatives exchanged and discussed the specific details of the promotional materials. They put forward suggestions for the preparation of materials and shared the effectiveness of POPs pollution prevention and control in their respective industries and the implementation of the Convention.
