The first draft of the "Guide for Inspection of Safety Risks and Hidden Dangers in Vinyl Chloride Production Enterprises" group standard was discussed through online on October 17th. Zhang Xin, Vice President of CCAIA, and Zhang Shoute, Vice Secretary General of CCAIA, attended the meeting. Leaders and responsible comrades from twelve key chlor-alkali enterprises including Xinjiang Zhongtai, Shaanxi Beiyuan, Tangshan Sanyou, Shanghai Chlor-Alkali, Bohua Chemical Development, Shaanxi Jintai, Erdos Chlor-Alkali, Zhejiang Oceanking Development, Xinjiang Tianye, Haiwan Chemical, Dongxing Chemical, and Wanhua Chemical attended the meeting. Zhang Xin, Vice president of CCAIA, introduced the overall situation and background of the standard compilation. Fan Hongbo, Secretary-General of the Association's Standardization Committee, presided over the meeting and briefly explained the main content of the group standard and the problems in the standard text. The participating enterprises focused on the key inspection items of the first draft, the major risk and hidden danger investigation items of process safety, equipment safety, electrical safety and instrument safety, the investigation methods, and the basis of the investigation. After the meeting, the drafting team will further supplement and improve the initial draft to complete the solicitation of opinions as soon as possible and promote the formulation and release of the group standard in an orderly manner.
