From September 13th to 14th, the training session on technical economy and cost accounting methods for major chlor-alkali products organized by CCAIA was held in Changsha. 126 representatives from key chlor-alkali manufacturers participated in the session. Zhu Jianping, Vice Secretary General of the Association, presided over the opening ceremony and gave a report on the economic operation analysis of China's chlor-alkali industry in the first half of 2023. In the training session, CCAIA invited senior experts with rich accounting experience to explain the Association's group standard of technical and economic accounting guidelines for the chlor-alkali industry. Specifically, the technical and economic accounting methods for the chlor-alkali industry Part 1 involve products such as caustic soda, liquid chlorine, and synthetic hydrochloric acid. The technical and economic accounting methods Part 2 apply to PVC resin. The cost accounting method Part 2 involves products like caustic soda, liquid chlorine, and synthetic hydrochloric acid. The cost accounting method Part 3 includes draft for approval of the national standard for energy consumption limits per unit product of PVC resin and the updated key products (caustic soda and polyvinyl chloride resin) in the chlor-alkali industry in 2022. At the same time, there were experts from the accounting department of key-chlor alkali enterprises to share the company's management and operation experience in terms of technical and economic accounting, economic operation management, cost accounting, and financial management.
