On September 7th, the 16th National Chloroacetic Acid Development Forum was held in Guiyang, with over 50 representatives from chloroacetic acid manufacturers and more than 30 upstream and downstream related industries attending the meeting. When the meeting was chaired by Li Qiong, Director of the Information Department of CCAIA, the Association and relevant experts gave special reports on the current economic operation status of the chlor-alkali industry, the development of chloroacetic acid and upstream and downstream industries, the application of graphite heat exchangers in the continuous chloroacetic acid process, and the research and application of continuous process technology and catalytic materials. The attending representatives fully exchanged the production and operation status of their respective enterprises, focusing on discussions on improving the quality of chloroacetic acid products, expanding downstream application sectors, and extending international market demand. Meanwhile, they shared various solutions for the comprehensive utilization of by-product hydrochloric acid from chloroacetic acid. The participating equipment and technology suppliers introduced relevant products and research achievements, providing strong support for the green and high-quality development of chloroacetic acid.
