The International Cooperation Working Committee of CCAIA Held a Virtual Meeting on India's Plan to Conduct BIS Certification for Imported Polyvinyl Chloride

 On September 1st, the International Cooperation Working Committee of CCAIA held a virtual meeting on India's plan to conduct BIS certification for imported polyvinyl chloride. More than 30 representatives from Xinjiang Zhongtai, Xinjiang Tianye, Qingdao Haiwan, Xinfa Group, Bohai Chemical Development, Shanghai Chlor-alkali, Inner Mongolia Junzheng, Tangshan Sanyou and Yibin Tianyuan Group attended the meeting. As the meeting was chaired by Wang Lili, Director of the International Cooperation Working Committee, lawyers from Hylands Law Firm and Indian WTC Law Firm provided detailed explanations on the BIS certification process and related requirements in India. The attending representatives consulted with the lawyer to ask questions. Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary General of CCAIA, pointed out in his summary that industry players should attach great importance to BIS certification as India is an important export market for PVC in China. CCAIA will assist industry enterprises in solving different problems encountered during the BIS certification process in India, continue to pay attention to the Indian market, actively carry out trade relief work, and cooperate with these enterprises to maintain the fairness and order of the import and export market.
