On August 22nd, the inaugural meeting and first plenary session of the Steering Committee for Promoting the development of World-Class Enterprises in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry was held in Beijing. Among the participants were heads of associations from CPCIF, China Chemical Enterprise Management Association, China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, China Crop Protection Industry Association, and China Rubber Industry Association, and leaders from enterprises such as Yibin Tianyuan, Tianye Group, Henan Xinlianxin Chemicals Group, Wanda Group, Tongkun Group, and Juhua Group, as well as experts and academics from Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and McKinsey Greater China and Deloitte China. Zhang Wenlei, President of CCAIA attended the meeting. The number of participants was expected to exceed 50. At the meeting, the Steering Committee for Promoting the development of World-Class Enterprises in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry was officially established, and appointment letters to the first members of the Committee were issued. Additionally, the meeting reviewed the "Action Guide for Promoting the development of World-Class Enterprises in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry (Discussion Draft)", where these attendees conducted in-depth discussions on the element framework and reference indicators of the evaluation system. Li Shousheng, President of CPCIF, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, deploying the next steps of work.
