The 2023 China Chemical Industry (Derivatives) Conference Hosted by Dalian Commodity Exchange was Held in Hangzhou

 The 2023 China Chemical Industry (Derivatives) Conference hosted by Dalian Commodity Exchange was held in Hangzhou from April 6 to 7. More than 500 representatives from industry associations, industrial enterprises and financial institutions attended the meeting. Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary General of CCAIA, was invited to attend the meeting and gave a report on the status quo and prospects of the chlor-alkali industry. The conference established a main forum and three sub forums for synthetic resins, aromatics, and refining products, focusing on topics such as the current macroeconomic situation in China and the world, the operation of the petrochemical industry, and the development path of the petrochemical industry against the backdrop of the "dual carbon" policy. With leaders and experts from Minsheng Bank, CPCIF, NPCPI, CCAIA, as well as Sinopec, PetroChina, Zhejiang Hengyi, and Hengli Petrochemical delivering keynote speeches, the Dalian Commodity Exchange provided an insight into the operation and functional role of chemical futures, as well as the promotion of new product research and development. During the conference, a symposium on the chemical industry was held where Dalian Commodity Exchange listened to the difficulties and pain points faced by industry representatives when participating in the futures market, as well as their opinions and suggestions on the research and development, regulatory operation, rules and regulations and market services.
