On March 29th, the standardization work committee meeting of CCAIA was held online, with Vice President Zhang Xin and Vice Secretary General Zhang Shoute as well as more than 20 members of the standardization committee from enterprises such as Xinjiang Tianye, Xinjiang Zhongtai, Tangshan Sanyou, Qingdao Haiwan Chemical, Shaanxi Beiyuan, and Ordos Chlor-alkali attended the meeting. As Fan Hongbo, Secretary General of the Association's Standardization Committee, presided over the meeting, Zhang Xin, Vice President, introduced the standardization work progress in recent years, as well as the supporting role and significance it has played for the government, industry, and enterprises to carry out related work. Secretary General Fan Hongbo gave a detailed report on the system development, organizational construction, and group standard formulation of the Standardization Committee and gave an insight into the first group standard launch plans this year in terms of safety, environmental protection, energy conservation and low-carbon development, waste salt resource utilization, testing methods, and mercury-free catalyst application evaluation. These participating members and experts had a full exchange and discussion, fully affirmed the standardization work, and put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions. With the next work arrangement included in the meeting, the first batch of group standard project announcements for this year will be released as soon as possible in order to promote the drafting of various standards in an orderly manner.
