On March 9th, CCAIAtook the invitation fromthe China Soda Industry Associationto attend the exchange meeting of upstream and downstream industry associations. Among the participants were representatives of the China Salt Industry Association, China Inorganic Salt Industry Association, China Detergent Industry Association, China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association and China National Association For Glass Industry. As the meeting was chaired by Dou Jinliang, the Secretary General of China Soda Industry Association, the President Ding Chaoran provided an insight into the overall operation of the soda ash industry, and heads of these associations exchanged production and operation conditions of their respective industries in 2022 and development trends in 2023. Zhang Shoute, Vice Secretary General of CCAIA, introduced the current operation and development trend of the chlor-alkali industry in 2023. The representatives at the meeting expressed their intention to further strengthen exchanges, discussions, and cooperation between upstream and downstream industries in the future to jointly promote the industry work standards.
