2022 National Annual Technical Conference of Caustic Soda Industry Held Online

 On December 15th, the 2022 national annual technical conference of caustic soda industry organized by CCAIA was held online. Zhang Xin, Vice president of CCAIA, and Zhang Shoute, assistant secretary general of CCAIA respectively presided over the conference. Zhang Wenlei, president of CCAIA, delivered a speech. He introduced the overall operation of the chlor alkali industry in 2022 and the key work of the industry, and put forward the direction for further technical exchanges and innovation in the caustic soda industry. Liu Yancai, the leader of the caustic soda expert group of CCAIA and the general manager of Shaanxi Beiyuan, made the theme report of Introduction to Energy Saving Technology in Chlor Alkali Industry; Gao Hong, the director of the Energy Conservation Management Office of the National Energy Conservation Center, made a special report on "Reflections on Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutralization"; Hu Yongqiang, the leader of the safety expert group of CCAIA and the chief safety officer of Hangzhou Electrochemical Technology Co., Ltd., made a special report on "Interpretation of General Technical Requirements for Safety Facilities of Chlorine Gas in Chlor Alkali Production"; the association made a special report on the current situation and prospect of main chlorine consuming products in the chlor alkali industry; leaders of key production enterprises, such as Shanghai chlor alkali, Qingdao Haiwi and Shandong Hengtong, exchanged their experience in technological innovation, energy conservation and carbon reduction, safety and environmental protection of production devices; Shandong Dongyue, Chongqing Bozhang, Bluestar (Beijing) Chemical Machinery and other key equipment enterprises exchanged the latest progress in localization of ionic membrane, intelligent equipment and intelligent factory; China Chengda Engineering, Hangzhou Dongri Energy Conservation, Nanjing Jiahua and Sichuan Haiyun Tianzhi introduced the latest achievements in energy conservation, environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing and other aspects of the industry. 76 papers were received at the conference, and experts were organized to evaluate the awards.
