CCAIA participated in virtual meetings organized by the World Chlorine Council

    On October 5th and 7th, the online annual council of the World Chlorine Council (WCC) was held. WCC, the EuroChlor, the North American Chlorine Institute, the South American Chlor-Alkali Association, AMAI, the Japanese soda Association, and the Russian Chlor-Alkali Association attended the meeting. Zhang Wenlei(president of CCAIA), Zhang Peichao (vice president and general secretary of CCAIA) and Wang Lili (Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Working Committee) attended the meeting. The meeting exchanged the relevant work of regional industry associations in North America, Europe, China, India, South America, Japan, South Korea and Russia in 2021, the development status of the chlor-alkali industry in various regions and the focus of the next step, and at the same time fully discussed the sustainable development of the global chlor-alkali industry. CCAIA mainly introduced the development of Chinas chlor-alkali industry and the work done in safety and the establishment of group standards. The meeting summarized the work of the World Chlorine Coulcil in 2021, and discussed and approved the work priorities for 2022.
