On July 5th, CCAIA organized a semi-annual work conference, with all staff members participating in either the Secretariat conference room or the Beijing Representative Office conference room. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Wenlei, the President of CCAIA. Li Qiong, Director of the Office, Zhang Shoute, Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the Consultation Department, Zheng Jiebin, Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the Information Department, Wang Li, Director of the Research Department, Wang Lili, Director of the International Cooperation Working Committee, and Lu Shukai, IT Technical Director, each summarized the work of their respective departments in the first half of 2024, including the Office, Consultation Department, Information Department, Research Department, International Cooperation Working Committee, and Technical Support, and outlined the key work priorities for the next stage. Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary-General of CCAIA, and Zhang Xin, Vice President, separately summarized the work in their respective areas of responsibility for the first half of 2024 and presented plans for the second half. President Zhang Wenlei concluded the overall work of CCAIA for the first half of 2024, outlined requirements for the second half, and focused on deploying three special improvement work plans. He emphasized that CCAIA must always adhere to the core concept of "standardization, service, and development," implement comprehensive and strict governance, and foster a clean and healthy political environment. He urged all staff members to focus on their work, dare to innovate, continuously improve their ability and level in providing "four services," and strive to promote the high-quality development of China's chlor-alkali industry.
