On July 30, the online conference on the economic operation of China's chlor-alkali industry in the first half of the year organized by CCAIA was held. Zheng Jiebin, deputy secretary-general of CCAIA, gave a detailed interpretation of the industry's economic operation in the first half of this year, the problems faced by the industry and the outlook for future operations. The overall operating characteristics of the industry in the first half of this year are: the production capacity of leading products increased slightly and the operating rate remained stable; the export volume of caustic soda decreased and the export volume of PVC increased; the price of raw material market remained low; the downstream demand for PVC was not strong. The conference has received extensive attention from inside and outside the industry. Nearly 200 nodes of chlor-alkali industry chain production enterprises, traders, service institutions and other organizations participated in the conference.
