The first Industrial Electrochemical Innovation and Development Forum and the 18th National Academic Conference on Organic Electrochemistry and Industry were held in Changchun from May 8th to 10th. As the meeting was attended by Wang Erkang, Feng Shouhua, Zhang Tao, Sun Shigang and Shi Jianlin, academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Li Bin, Vice President of CPCIF and Wang Xiaofeng, President of China Inorganic Salts Industry Association, Zhang Wenlei, President of CCAIA, presided over some links and Vice Secretary General Zhang Shoute made a special report. Nearly 400 representatives from 135 universities, research institutes, and enterprises and institutions across the country attended the conference. The conference, with the theme of "Industrial Electrochemistry - Clean, Green, Efficient, and Economical Electrochemical Processes," aims to promote cooperation between the academic and industrial communities in the fields of petrochemicals, chlor-alkali, electrolytic hydrogen production, green electrosynthesis, environmental electrochemistry, electrochemical engineering, industrial electrode materials (electrocatalysts), separators, electrochemical reactors, etc., and to booste the high-quality development of China's industrial sectors such as green petrochemicals, green energy, and green metallurgy.
