On April 17th, the Atmospheric Environment Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment organized a symposium on the National Plan for China to Fulfill the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (2024-2030). The meeting was attended by relevant leaders from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment's Foreign Economic Center, CPCIF, CCAIA, China Association of Fluorine and Siiicone lndustry, China Household Electrical Appliances Association, China Refrigeration And Air-Conditioning Industry Association, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and Peking University. Among the participants included Vice President Zhang Xin and Director of the Research Department Wang Li of CCAIA. Director Dong Wenfu of the Atmospheric Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment presided over the meeting and introduced the feedback and suggestions from various associations on the National Plan for China's Implementation of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (2024-2030) (draft for soliciting opinions). As the attending representatives had sufficient exchanges and discussions, they agreed to conscientiously fulfill international treaty obligations and ensure the smooth completion of the reduction requirements of the first compliance cycle of the Kigali Amendment.
