On April 1, CCAIA organized an online meeting on responding to the Indian PVC anti-dumping investigation. This measure was taken in response to the official anti-dumping case investigation launched by India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry on March 26 against imports of PVC from seven countries and regions, including China. CCAIA invited over 20 PVC manufacturing enterprises and 3 leading law firms involved to discuss countermeasures. The meeting was hosted by Zhang Peichao, the vice president and secretary-general of CCAIA. Zhang Wenlei, the president of the association, reviewed the history of the industry's response to the Indian PVC anti-dumping investigation, analyzed the importance of the Indian market, and urged industry enterprises to attach great importance to this anti-dumping response work. He called for joint efforts from all parties to fully carry out related work and strive for the most favorable outcome. Lawyers from Jin AllBright Law Offices, Hylands Law Firm, and Global Law Office introduced the relevant situation and coping strategies of the case from different perspectives. Participating companies and lawyers engaged in a question-and-answer interaction. The meeting decided that CCAIA would establish a special leading group and working group to comprehensively organize the response to the Indian PVC anti-dumping investigation, conducting the industry's overall non-injury defense and the enterprises' separate anti-dumping duty appeals.
