On June 2, CCAIA virtually held a kick-off meeting of the preparation of two group standards for Cost Accounting Method of Chlor-alkali Industry-Part 2: Caustic Soda, Liquid Chlorine and Synthetic Hydrochloric Acidand Cost Accounting Method of Chlor-alkali Industry-Part 3: PVC Resin. Among the participants were heads or editors in chief from Tangshan Sanyou Group, Shaanxi Beiyuan Group, Qingdao Haiwan Chemical, Xinjiang Tianye Group, Shaanxi Jintai, Junzheng Group, Ningxia Risheng High Tech Industry and Shandong Xinlong Group. Zhujianping, Director of the general office of CCAIA, attended the meeting. While Fanhongbo, Secretary General of the Standardization Working Committee of CCAIA, presided over the meeting, Zhang Xin, Vice President of CCAIA, introduced the background and significance of the standard preparation and Yang Jianrong, an expert of standard drafting group, briefly explained the outlines and working ideas of the two group standards. The participants discussed the outlines of the standards and their preparations and exchanged ideas focusing on the topics including chlor-alkali cost distribution and hydrogen accounting cost proportion. At the meeting, arrangements were made for the preparation of the next preliminary draft of the standard with the preparations of the first draft of the two group standards planned to be completed in early July.
