On March 18th, the working seminar on the medical PVC special resin organized by CCAIA was held virtually among the standard drafting team members. Among the participants were leaders and staff in charge from Shanghai Chlor Alkali, Formosa Plastics Corporation (Ningbo), Qingdao HaiwanChemical, WanhuaChemical Group and HuaSuPlastics.Fan Hongbo, Secretary General of the Standardization Working Committee of CCAIA, presided over the meeting. Li Qiong, Director of the Information Department, introduced the collectedinformation and suggestions of various enterprises following the completion of the first draft of these standards. Shanghai Chlor Alkali, the editor in chief, briefed on the overall preparation process of these standards. The experts of the drafting team, while taking into account the actual condition of the current medical PVC special resin, made comments on the scope provisions, normative references,technical requirements and test methods, marks\packaging\transportation\storage. Opinions on the core contents such as the performance index of medical PVC resin specified in the first draft of the standards were discussed among various enterprises.Zhang Xin, Vice Presidentof CCAIA, summarized the meeting, put forward requirements for the revision of the first draft and emphasized the key points of the next step. The standard drafting team will further revise, supplement and improve these standards on the basis of the first draft, strive to complete the draft for comments as soon as possible, and promote the formulation and release of the team standards in an orderly fashion.
